In-person learning is happening at all Lynden Schools buildings as of Monday, Nov. 16. Following a successful phased return of K-5 students to the district’s three elementary buildings over fall, Lynden Middle School and Lynden High School welcomed a large group of students for the first time on Nov. 16.
Due to the need for physical distancing within the LMS and LHS buildings, both schools have adopted a hybrid approach. Half the students, divided by the first letter of their last name, will attend school in-person on Monday and Wednesday and remotely on Tuesday and Thursday and the other half will operate on an opposite schedule.
All students and staff are screened through the safety protocols developed in conjunction with state and local health officials.
