Medieval Learning

It’s been a Medieval type of class for fourth-grade students at Bernice Vossbeck Elementary. As part of language arts, Beth Hartokolis’ class covered a Medieval Times unit that included everything from creating scrolls to catapults. Students enjoyed themed snacks—Round Table Snack Mix and Knight’s Fuel were on the offering—and had their own personalized goblet to go with it. Ropes, shields and marshmallow castles were all involved too. It was a celebration of Medieval proportions.
