LMS ‘Masterpiece’ Challenge Shows Off Student Artwork

The Lynden Middle School ASB officers have promoted virtual challenges to the entire LMS student body, the latest being a “Masterpiece” challenge focusing on art. 

“We’ve been trying to think of ways to connect with one another and continue to be a community,” says Cyndi Selcho, LMS assistant principal. 

The Masterpiece challenge encouraged artwork, which included plenty of drawing and painting, as well as an original digital song. The winner of the Masterpiece challenge was Duncan Park. 

LMS plans to have a new virtual challenge every week, everything from showing off artistic talents to coming up with a secret handshake. Winners are posted on the LMS Instagram account @we.are.lms and students not on social media can find the winners by checking their school email accounts.
