Family Resources – Assessments

The Washington Comprehensive Assessment Portal (WCAP) provides students and families with relevant testing information regarding online practice tests, testing resources, as well as important dates, questions, and answers to prepare you and your student(s) for state testing.

In addition, Ready Washington is a coalition of state and local agencies, associations and advocacy organizations that support college and career ready learning standards and assessments: Common Core State Standards, Next Generation Science Standards and Smarter Balanced assessments. Many of their family resources are downloadable for printing and sharing.

Washington has K-12 learning standards that define the knowledge and skills every student needs to be ready for career, college and life when they complete high school. Some of these standards are assessed using state tests.
